Dividen.my is a free set of calculators for Malaysia's main savings schemes: ASB, Tabung Haji and KWSP (EPF). We built it because most people sign up for financing or plan for retirement without seeing the arithmetic behind it.
Everything runs in your browser. Balances, salaries and loan amounts you type in are never sent to a server or stored.
How we calculate
There is no model or prediction. Each calculator applies a published rate to your balance, year by year, and shows the running total.
- Dividend per year: balance × rate, added to the balance before the next year begins.
- Contributions and deposits: added monthly as they happen and accrue dividend for the remaining months of that year.
- Future years: projections assume the rate you choose stays the same. Past rates are shown so you can pick a realistic one.
Where we simplify
- KWSP calculates dividend on your daily aggregate balance. The retirement projector approximates this monthly; the dividend calculator uses a flat balance. Both can differ slightly from your statement.
- KWSP employer rate depends on your wage band. We use the rate you enter.
- ASB pays income distribution and bonus on different balance bases. The dividend calculator applies both to the units you enter.
- Zakat estimates use a flat 2.5% and are for reference only.

If you spot a rate that is out of date, the tool is maintained by a small independent team and we correct it as soon as the new rate is announced.
